Background
ETC approached us for a revamped mobile experience, aiming to replace their current platform with a focus on enhanced functionality and increased user engagement.
Our solution
The app was developed as a React Native hybrid app (iOS and Android) and integrates with Dagens ETC user accounts to ensure the user has an active newspaper subscription.
As a time-efficient solution, several screens in the app are displayed using Dagens ETC existing mobile website. The web screens are integrated seamlessly using a cutting-edge framework that enabled us to mix web and native components without breaking the app-like experience.
The results
We successfully launched the new mobile experience in early fall 2023 through close collaboration with ETC's internal IT team.
